Saint-Galmier
Saint-Galmier is a commune of 5300 inhabitants, perched on a hill overlooking the Forez plain in the Loire department (42). It is a small medieval town very lively in summer. There is a casino, swimming pool, tennis court, gardens, racecourse (night races), mountain bike... It is a flowery town known for its mineral water spring Badoit. Saint-Galmier is 20 km from Saint-Etienne, 70 km from Lyon and less than an hour's drive from the Pilat Regional Park.
